That removed Turbo Boost. Now the unit runs very quiet.Update to warranty issue. Called Dell, first got the Phillipines. They didn't understand anything. Then got India.
They changed my warranty to the correct date. Seems Dell has outsourced general CS 100% overseas.CPU runs high almost all the time and the fan runs constantly and loud. Have updated Bios, ran process explorer to see what's causing it and it appears to be some traffic regulator.Even though I bought it on 12/2/19, the warranty expires on 9/19/2019. Looks like they are going by the ship date to Microsoft instead of my purchase date. So you will likely need to call Dell to get this corrected.
